Father Vicente Calderon dies in Philippines

Father Vicente Calderon, retired priest of the Diocese of El Paso, was called to the Lord on Thursday, March 22, at Far Eastern University Hospital in Manila, Philippines.

Pneumonia and cardiac arrest were the probable cause of his death.

Father Calderon served in several parishes of the El Paso Diocese.

Mass of Christian Burial was offered by Bishop Manolo de los Santos April 4 at Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church, Virac, Catanduanes, Philippines.

Amemorial Mass was offered by clergy of the Diocese of El Paso April 4 at St. Raphael Parish.
