The Vocations Office of the Diocese of El Paso will sponsor a Day of Reflection for 16-26 year olds who would like to explore a possible vocation as a priest, religious priest, brother or sister in an apostolic, monastic or contemplative community, said Father Miguel Angel Sánchez, vocations director.

Father Sánchez encouraged Catholics to make personal invitations to those in the community that you see or know are interested.

The retreats will be limited to 30 participants on each date July 7 or July 21, he said. Participants cannot attend both days.

Father Sánchez said two seminarians will be helping promote vocations during the Sundays of the summer in different parishes. The seminarians will share a little of their vocation story and Father Sánchez will celebrate Mass.

After Mass a small table will be available for those who would like more information and to promote the retreats.

Also the Vocations Office will be visiting youth groups to have a presentation to share more with them and the seminarians’’ life and vocation.
