Sister Helen Santamaria to mark Golden Jubilee

Loretto Sister Helen Santamaria will celebrate 50 years of consecrated life during a Mass of Thanksgiving at 4 p.m.June 2 in the Loretto Academy Chapel.
Sister Santamaria served as teacher and principal of Loretto Academy, assistant chancellor of the Diocese of El Paso, assistant chaplain in the Catholic ministry at the Immigration Detention Center in El Paso.
She is currently director of Villa Maria Home for homeless women in South El Paso. A reception at Loretto?’s El Convento will follow the Mass.
